Other Voices (sometimes tagged as 'a soundtrack to an English animated film') was released in 2012 - at a time when I was learning how to work my recording gear (I actually liked the 'lo-fi' thing that came from these particular recordings so I stuck with these versions despite their errors), all this was done so I could demo songs to the band in a better/clearer manner... I was also going through some difficult times and just wanted to write as much material as possible, however I didn't really want to sing (just use my voice as a texture) - hence the 'silent scream' on the cover.

Everything was written as I recorded - a trait I've carried on with pretty much all my writing now...
